Check availability
Open Menu. If it reports GitHub is not configured, the operator of your Revelation deployment must configure the integration. GitHub is not available in the Revelation for Confluence editor. You also need repository access through the connected account.
Connect and open
- Choose Connect to GitHub… and complete the account connection.
- Choose Open from GitHub….
- Select the repository, branch and supported model file in the browser.
- Review the model before editing. Use the named views to inspect its structure.
Save changes
Choose Save to GitHub for the current path, or Save to GitHub as… to choose a destination. Review repository, branch and path; add an informative commit message and complete the save. Save view positions when prompted before committing.
If someone changed the file
A conflicting save opens a conflict workflow. Keep a local backup, reload the repository version and reapply your changes, or save to a different path as appropriate. Do not repeatedly retry a stale save or assume the other person's edits have been merged automatically.
Access and disconnecting
Use Manage GitHub repository access… when an expected repository is unavailable. Check account and permissions before creating another copy. Disconnecting removes the connection, but unsaved work can remain in the current session; download it before leaving.
For deployment operators
Revelation needs its accompanying GitHub server integration configured by the host administrator. User documentation does not provide or request installation secrets. Contact your deployment operator if authentication or configuration fails.
