Create a catalogue
- Save a Revelation diagram on the page first.
- Edit the page and insert Revelation catalogue table.
- In Diagram on this page, select the model.
- Select its View, then choose Systems or Interactions under Table.
- Select the optional property columns you want. Core table columns are retained.
- Save the macro configuration, publish/update the page, then view it as someone with edit permission.
Result: a generated native Confluence table appears beside the catalogue macro. Configure another macro if you want both systems and interactions.
What controls the rows and columns?
The selected model and view determine the data. Systems and interactions have different optional columns; changing the table kind resets that selection. Use view membership to focus a catalogue and properties such as Owner to make it useful to readers.
When the table refreshes
Opening the page checks whether the generated content differs from the last synchronised table. If it does, a viewer with edit permission can trigger the page update. A reader without that permission can continue to see the last synchronised version until an editor views the page.
This is not a background push service. After editing a diagram or changing catalogue configuration, view the page as an editor and confirm the table has refreshed.
Keep the model authoritative
Change values in the model, then let the catalogue regenerate. Manual changes to a generated table can be overwritten on refresh. Edit macro configuration to change the selected model, view or columns.
If nothing appears or it is stale
Check that the model was saved, the selected view contains records and the macro points to the intended model. Read its status message. If it says an editor must view the page, use an account with edit permission; if synchronisation failed, retain the error text for support.
