Install and prepare access

Get Revelation for Confluence ready for your team, then check that authors and readers can get started.

For a Confluence administrator

  1. Locate Revelation Modeller in Atlassian Marketplace, or use the installation link supplied for your deployment.
  2. Choose the intended Confluence Cloud site and review the app's requested access and commercial terms.
  3. Complete installation, then open a test page that an author can edit.
  4. Check that macro search offers Revelation diagram and Revelation catalogue table.
  5. Ask an author to complete the first-diagram walkthrough, and a reader to check the saved diagram.

Atlassian administers apps through Connected Apps; the navigation varies with your site's administration experience. Follow Atlassian's current app-management instructions.

For authors and readers

You need page-edit permission to save a diagram or configure its macros. Readers can view the saved diagram and use Explore. If Edit is missing, check your page access before treating it as an installation failure. Ask the page owner to give you edit access if you need to change the model.

Optional Rovo assistance

Manual diagram editing does not require Rovo. To use the agents, your organisation must make the relevant Rovo AI capabilities available. Look for the Revelation agent matching your notation. If it is unavailable, ask your administrator to check Rovo access and the installed app version.

Before a wider rollout

Test a saved model, a catalogue refresh and a reader's access. Give your team the documentation link and support email. Check the Marketplace quote for your site's billable population and subscription cycle.
